Santana Moss, Washington Redskins receiver received a foreclosure notice from Deutsche Bank for falling behind on mortgage payments on his Lighthouse Point home.

According to The South Florida Business Journal Moss signed a $15 million contract with the Redskins in July, which also included a $5 million signing bonus, so the foreclosure notice comes as a surprise for everybody.

Since Moss has the financial backup to pay his monthly mortgage, it is surprising why Deutsche Bank alleges Moss has fallen into default of a mortgage issued for $3.64 million six years ago.

Another issue that concerns Moss’ financials is that the IRS filed a $258,017 tax lien in November in Broward County Circuit Court against Moss.

The formed Pro Bowl player has bought the 9,304-square feet home for $5.2 million as public records show and he maintains his homestead on the property indicating that it is his primary residence.

Chris Tucker, the comedian who starred as a wise-cracking LA police detective with Jackie Chan in “Rush Hour” film series is one step away from losing his Central-Florida located multimillion-dollar mansion.
Tucker bought the 10,000 square-feet waterfront property on Lake Apopka back in 2007 for $6 million, but public records show he owes more than $4.4 million to SunTrust Bank.
Tucker’s was among eight luxury homes displayed during a “Street of Dreams” event at the height of the real-estate boom in 2006, when unimproved one-acre parcels in the budding enclave of the super rich sold for more than $1 million.
The luxury real estate features five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa in the master suit, and outdoor kitchen overlooking a pool and an unusual basement designed like a pirate ship with wooden deck, mast and sail.
Circuit-court documents show the IRS imposed a $11.5 million lien on the home in 2010 in an effort to collect federal income taxes from the star. The same documents show that Tucker’s monthly mortgage payment was above $25,000. Tucker’s mansion has an assessed value of $1.6 million, according to the property appraiser’s site.

Burt Reynolds, a veteran actor and longtime Hobe Sound resident now faces foreclosure lawsuit on his nearly 4-acre Indian Hills estate on the Intracoastal Waterway.
According to the lawsuit – filed by Merrill Lynch Credit Corp., BankAtlantic and Great Eastern Mortgage – the actor hasn’t made a mortgage payment since Sept 1 2010 on his home and he is now behind $1.2 million on his payments.
“No subsequent payments have been made,” noted the lawsuit, filed by attorneys with the Tampa-based Florida Default Law Group P.L. “Plaintiff must be paid $1,193,808 in principal on the mortgage note and mortgage, together with interest from Aug. 1, 2010, and all costs … and reasonable attorney’s fees.”
Merrill Lynch wants the home sold to satisfy all debts. BankAtlantic, according to the complaint, holds a second $750,000 mortgage on the Mediterranean-style home, which currently is valued at $2.4 million, records with the Martin County Property Appraiser’s Office show.
